Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is a South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Music (now known as HYBE Corporation) in 2019. The group consists of five members: Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai. 

They made their debut in March 2019 with the EP “The Dream Chapter: Star,” which was followed by “The Dream Chapter: Magic” and “The Dream Chapter: Eternity.” In 2020, they released their first studio album, “The Dream Chapter: Magic,” which received critical acclaim and commercial success. On May 9, 2022, they put out their fourth EP, Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child, with the single “Good Boy Gone Bad” as the lead track. Six days after the reveal, on April 20, 2022, pre-orders reached 810,000 copies. To promote the EP, the band went on its first world tour, called Act: Lovesick, which started on July 2. On July 22, 2022, the group put out an English song called “Valley of Lies” that featured Puerto Rican rapper Iann Dior. TXT was the first K-pop band to play at Lollapalooza. They did so on July 30, 2022.

“Good Boy Gone Bad” was TXT’s third song to come out in Japan on August 31. It had the Japanese version of “Good Boy Gone Bad” and two original Japanese songs, “Hitori no Yoru” and “Kimi janai dareka no (Ring)”. Abema’s show Heart Signal Japan, which was a remake of the Korean reality show Heart Signal, used “Ring” as its opening song.
