The entertainment industry is once again facing the wrath of the pandemic, due to a rapid increase in COVID-19 cases across the country. As India experiences its second wave of coronavirus, the pandemic has started to cause chaos in daily life.

Despite the fact that many states have imposed partial lockdowns and night curfews, several major film shoots have been halted. According to a report in the Times of India, the shoot schedules for the most-anticipated films — Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathan and Ranbir Kapoor’s Brahmastra — have been halted.

Ashok Dubey is said, Pathan, which was being constructed on the helipad of Film City and included the shooting of John Abraham and Shah Rukh Khan, was one of the three large sets that were under construction. Then there was the Brahmastra set, as well as Vikram Motwane’s Andolan Pictures set, which were both in the works. Every day, about 250 members of the setting department worked on each collection, and the work was expected to last a month, but the new lockdown will take everyone out of work.

Zahid Shaikh of Cine Dancers Association (CDA) was quoted, There was a song for ‘Brahmastra’ that needed 300 dancers, a Rohit Shetty song for ‘Cirkus,’ one song choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant, and many outdoor shoots. All of the songs have been rehearsed, but the shoot has been canceled. In the case of ‘Brahmastra,’ first Ranbir Kapoor was infected with Covid, which led us to halt production for 15 days, and then Alia Bhatt was infected, resulting in a government mandate not to film major songs, which is extremely unfortunate.

In addition to John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, Pathan is directed by Siddharth Anand and stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. Yash Raj Films is in charge of the production.

Brahmastra, on the other hand, stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, and Nagarjuna Akkineni, with a cameo appearance by Shah Rukh Khan. Brahmastra stars Mouni Roy as the main antagonist.
