Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar are Set to Come Back with ‘Raksha Bandhan’

Bhumi Pednekar, a Bollywood actress, has joined the cast of Akshay Kumar and Aanand L Rai’s next movie Raksha Bandhan. After Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, this will be Bhumi’s second collaboration with Akshay.

Bhumi shared a picture of herself, Akshay, and Aanand on Instagram. A very amazing film & a very special reunion, she said in the caption. She is ecstatic to be working with two of her favourite creative superstars and humans once more. She is delighted to be a part of this unique, heartfelt narrative #RakshaBandhan.”

Atrangi Re, which also stars Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan, features Akshay Kumar and Aanand L Rai.

Himanshu Sharma, Aanand’s long-term companion, wrote Raksha Bandhan, which is about the brother-sister relation. “A narrative that hits your heart so deeply & so quickly, it’s the fastest he has signed a movie in his career,” Akshay wrote beside a poster advertising the project. #RakshaBandhan is dedicated to her sister, Alka, and the most precious bond in the globe of a brother and sister. Sooryavanshi, Atrangi Re, Prithviraj, Ram Setu, Bell Bottom, and Bachchan Pandey are among Akshay’s future films, in addition to Raksha Bandhan. Badhaai Do and Mr. Lele are two of Bhumi’s future films.
