Fawad Khan Starrer ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ Returns to Indian Screen ‘On Demand’

‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ Starts on ZeeTV on 5th June

After nearly five years without seeing Fawad Khan on Indian television, fans may cheer as the Pakistani heartthrob’s iconic romance drama Zindagi Gulzar Hai has returned to TV. In the midst of the Uri attack, various film groups demanded that Pakistani artists be banned from working in Indian films and music. Fawad had to say goodbye to his Indian followers in 2016.

As a result, Fawad Khan’s 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil caused controversy, and Pakistani shows were removed from Zee’s Zindagi channel, which broadcasts syndicated programs from all across the world. Interestingly, Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which was first broadcast on the Zindagi channel in 2014, is now appearing on Zee TV in India. The channel announced the news on Twitter, stating that the show will be broadcast “on demand.”

After both Zindagi Gulzar Hai and Humsafar launched on the Zindagi channel in 2014, Fawad Khan increasingly gained success in India. The actor played an upper-class chauvinist in Zindagi Gulzar Hai, whose liberal seems more of a matter of convenience than a conviction. Sanam Saeed’s Kashaf Murtaza questions Zaroon’s male entitlement. Kashaf’s life has been anything but simple as she grows older confronting both gender and class discrimination. In 2012, Sultana Siddiqui directed the show, which was inspired by Umera Ahmed’s novel of the same name.

ZeeTV on its official Twitter account has announced this news. It starts from 5th June Saturday 12 PM to 2 PM, only on ZeeTV.
