Salman Khan’s ‘Radhe’ to arrive in cinemas and OTT on the same day
It’s time to take you through the day’s most famous OTT news. Here’s a look at the top trending OTT news today, from Salman Khan’s Radhe getting ready for release in theatres and on the OTT website to Arjun Kapoor’s Sardar Ka Grandson trailer.
Good news for Salman Khan fans: his highly awaited film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai will be released simultaneously in theatres and on OTT platforms. On Twitter, Salman announced the news. Salman Khan Films’ official Twitter account posted a poster of Radhe and tweeted, “The ideal Eid get-together! #Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai is out now on various platforms around the world, with the hashtag #RadheThisEid.” Radhe will debut on the streaming platform ZEE5 in addition to its theatrical release on May 13.
Zee Studios, who are also the theatrical distributors of the film, will release it in cinemas around the world on May 13 for Eid, as well as on their video streaming site ZEE5 and pay-per-view service ZEEPlex. Radhe will be available in all Indian states where they operate, as well as 40 foreign territories including West Asia, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe, and the United Kingdom, according to the company.
“The current pandemic has forced us to innovate, and we are proud to be the first to introduce this modern distribution method. Though we all enjoy going to the movies, we felt it would be a disservice to Salman’s fans across the country if we weren’t able to release the film theatrically in all Indian states,” said Shariq Patel, Zee Studios’ chief business officer, in a statement.
The trailer for Radhe will be released tomorrow, according to Salman Khan Films’ official account (April 22). Salman Khan announced the trailer via Twitter. “Toh milte hain kal…#RadheTrailerOutTomorrow,” he wrote. Salman Khan revealed on social media in March that Radhe would be released on Eid Day, May 13th. In his tweet, he also included a brand-new poster for the upcoming film. “Eid ka commitment tha, Eid par hi aayenge kyun ki ek baar jo maine#RadheOn13thMay #2MonthsToRadhe,” the actor wrote on Instagram.
Prabhu Deva is the director of Radhe. After Wanted and Dabangg 3, this is Salman Khan’s third collaboration with Prabhu Deva. Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, and Jackie Shroff will also play pivotal roles in the film.
In addition to Radhe, Salman Khan has Antim: The Final Truth and Kick 2 are the coming up movies.
