2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards

This year’s iHeartRadio Music Awards boasts some big performances and even greater winners. The most recognized personalities in music joined together for the star-studded concert on Thursday, and a lucky handful walked away with the precious awards.
Megan Thee Stallion led the pack with eight nominations across seven categories heading into Thursday’s show, while Roddy Ricch came in second with seven nominations, including three in the Hip-Hop Song of the Year category alone.
The Weeknd was nominated for six awards, including Song of the Year and Male Artist of the Year, following his massive win at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. Harry Styles was also nominated for six awards, including the show’s two most prestigious honors, which he will compete for against The Weeknd.

iHeartRadio Music Awards show featured several performances

The Weeknd and Ariana Grande debuted their “Save Your Tears” remix (and the debut of her wedding ring! ), Silk Sonic, Dan + Shay, and Doja Cat all performed (in front of a real-life, indoor, masked audience!) (featuring aliens). Demi Lovato, Brandi Carlile, and H.E.R. also performed a musical tribute to Elton John, who was honored with the iHeartRadio Icon Award this year.
