Dhanush is IMDB’s most popular Indian star in 2022. 

The list of the Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022 was compiled by IMDb’s editorial staff, and it ranks Dhanush first. The two Bollywood stars that landed in the second and third spots on IMDB’s list were Alia Bhatt and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. South Indian actors make up a larger amount of the top 10 Indian celebrities. This includes not only Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu but also NTR Jr., Allu Arjun, and Yash.

Hrithik Roshan came in at number six, just ahead of Kiara Advani, while Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu tied for fifth place. Eighth place went to NT Rama Rao Jr, followed by Allu Arjun at number nine and Yash in tenth.

During an interview with IMDb, Alia Bhatt said, “2022 has been the most amazing year I’ve had at the movies—I am eternally appreciative and grateful for the love the public showed all my films this year and feel honored to have partnered with our country’s best directors and artists.”

As an extension, she said, “IMDb is a great representation of the public’s taste in film, and I aim to keep people laughing for as long as I’m in front of the camera. Light and love. Again, I appreciate it.

This year, Dhanush has been in numerous successful films, including Maaran (a Tamil film) and The Gray Man (a Hollywood film).

Alia has appeared in Gangubai Kathiawadi and Brahmastra, while Aishwarya was the star of Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan I, which is still popular with moviegoers throughout the world. In the Telugu smash hit Yashoda, Samantha starred.

RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli, has both Ram Charan and NTR Jr., who are hoping the film is nominated for an Oscar Nomination. The first film released in India this year to break box office records was Yash in KGF Chapter 2.

Kiara Advani has had a successful year, with roles in two box office hits: JugJugg Jeeyo and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Recently, the Hindi version of Vikram Vedhathat starring Hrithik as Vedha was released.
